Kentucky publisher Shadelandhouse Modern Press to host Kentucky author holiday showcase
Berea, Kentucky – Sunday, December 1, 10:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m., Shadelandhouse Modern Press, a Lexington, Kentucky-based, family-operated independent book publishing company founded by Virginia H. Underwood (Berea College (1973); University of Kentucky College of Law (1986)) and Stephanie Underwood, will host a Kentucky author showcase and book signing at the historic Boone Tavern Hotel, 100 Main Street, Berea. A reception with light holiday refreshments will begin at 12:15 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
Six Kentucky authors will be on hand to greet community members, visitors, and guests, and to sell and sign their recently published books. Shadelandhouse Modern Press will also be announcing authors new to the press and sharing information about their forthcoming titles.
Kentucky authors who will be signing their books include Sandi Keaton-Wilson, Marta Miranda-Straub, James Riley, Sherry Robinson, Jane B. Stephenson, and Richard (Rick) Underwood. Authors new to Shadelandhouse Modern Press include Carolyn Grace, Rebecca Lindsay, Jermey Paden, and Bianca Spriggs.
